There are 500 prizes available to be won. These 500 Grand Prizes are available for instant winning through the timing of entry received.

Each Grand Prize consists of one (1) $200 Visa* Prepaid Card. Use your Visa prepaid card anywhere Visa cards are accepted worldwide. Card is issued by Peoples Trust Company pursuant to a licence from Visa Int. *Trademark of Visa International Service Association and used under licence by Peoples Trust Company. Your use of the prepaid card is governed by the Cardholder Agreement, and some fees may apply. This is not a gift card. Please note that prepaid cards are subject to expiration, so pay close attention to the expiration date of the card. When you enter the contest the system determines if you are a potential winner or a non-winner. If you are identified as a POTENTIAL winner that means that we must validate your entry prior to you being declared an official winner. The first step in that process is validating your receipt. We must determine that your receipt is valid and that the scan or photo of your receipt is clear, and that it shows the store name, the date and time of transaction, and the one (1) participating product that has been purchased during the contest period.

Reasons for rejections may also include, but are not limited to: (i) fails to pass anti-fraud detection system; (ii) is unauthorized, fake, not from a participating store or has been illegitimately obtained; (iii) contains any messages, or other markings not recognized by the administrator; (iv) is illegible, unreadable, not in focus or blank; (v) has been previously used; (vi) does not include the Participating Products, the correct number of Participating Products or is not during the Contest Period; or (vii) is incorrectly or incompletely entered or submitted.

On the entry page you will be required to provide your first and last name, mailing address with postal code, e-mail address, telephone number, and date of birth. You will also need to provide a photo or scan of a single receipt, clearly showing the participating store name, the date and time of transaction, and at least the one (1) participating product (outlined in the rules and regs section) that has been purchased during the contest period. Your receipt MUST have one of the participating products on that receipt – products of a different size or configuration than those listed in the rules are not valid.

On the entry page you will be required to supply the proper information, along with a copy of your receipt showing participating product purchase. If you have been selected as a POTENTIAL winner, you are not considered an official winner until your Receipt (or Essay for Mail-In entry) has been validated and verified and you have returned your signed and completed declaration that includes answering a mathematical skill-testing question.

Participating Products for this program (subject to availability) are as follows. These are the only sizes and configurations eligible for entry: Honey Nut Chex – 395g, Cinnamon Chex – 345g, Rice Chex – 365g, Chocolate Chex – 360g, Peanut Butter Chex – 340g, Oatmeal CrispTM Almond – 437g or 628g, Oatmeal CrispTM Triple Berry – 399g or 570g, Oatmeal CrispTM Maple Nut – 423g or 619g , Oatmeal CrispTM Special Edition.

You may enter the contest more than once, but entry is limited to one (1) per official Receipt or Essay submitted. For further clarity – A RECEIPT CAN ONLY BE SUBMITTED ONCE. IF THAT SAME RECEIPT IS USED MULTIPLE TIMES, AND AFTER THE FIRST ENTRY IS A POTENTIAL WINNER, THEN THAT ENTRY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. As well, there is a limit of one entry per household per day. That means if you have a second receipt, you must wait at least 24 hours before trying with that second receipt

Please ensure the scan or photo of your receipt is clear, and that it shows the store name, the date and time of transaction, and the one (1) participating product that has been purchased during the contest period. As indicated in the rules and regulations, once confirmed as a winner, you will be notified via email on how to redeem and activate your gift card. At that point the gift card will be a virtual/digital card which you can choose to remain as a virtual card, or you may convert to a physical card. If you convert to a physical card, please allow for up to 10-14 days following your redemption email for physical card delivery. If, after that point, you still have not received your prize, please send an email to info@promotionsgeneralmills.ca

As indicated in the rules and regulations, the end date is Feb 28, 2022. Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday, Feb 28, 2022. Entries submitted after the Contest Closing Time will not be accepted.

The Contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of entry.

As indicated in the rules and regulations, an email indicating how to redeem and activate your Prepaid Card will be sent within 2-4 weeks of you being declared a winner. You will then have the option to redeem for a virtual card that can be used for online purchases, or a physical prepaid card. If you convert to a physical card you will need to wait another 10-14 days for your physical card to arrive.
